We don’t make a photograph just with a camera, we bring to the art of photography all the books we have read, all music we have heard and all the people we have loved.
-Ansel Adams
I am often asked: “Why photography? Why have you chosen photography as a career?”
It was always a dream, until a remarkable person guided me into making it my reality.
I became fascinated with photography as a small child, often sneaking into our family room spending hours placing our entire collection of family photographs in a never ending spiral around the room. Finally I would stand in the centre of the spiraling pattern and slowly enjoy each photograph. Photographs of our lives, of picnics, of first bikes, my two brothers, of early morning walks, huge forts, of my brother in a ridiculously tight Superman outfit, of Birthday cakes and caravan trips and sandcastles and Christmas trees. Photographs hold life's experiences. Without them our memories become a little distant.
Photography is my passion. I have the most unbelievable occupation. I capture fleeting moments in life to treasure forever.
Belinda.
To M.S. thanks for my dream.
